About the LENS Online Portal

Welcome to the LENS Online Portal! The LENS is an academic journal that features research studies conducted by the teaching and non-teaching personnel of the Schools Division of Gingoog City. It covers myriad topics in education, especially issues enumerated in the different themes set forth by the Department of Education as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2017. The publication provides an avenue for teachers and non-teaching personnel to disseminate research findings conducted in their respective workplaces/schools to understand and improve the culture of the teaching-learning process and the systems and processes supporting academic improvement in the Department of Education. The journal is named the LENS, which connotes works investigating phenomena that beset the educational landscape, highlighting the underlying issues that need addressing for localized policy development in the Schools Division of Gingoog City and the Department of Education.
